Dr Antonios Valsamidis is a Coastal / Port / Hydraulic Engineer with 20 years of experience. He has established an internationally acknowledged profile in the field of coastal modelling, has a deeper understanding of coastal dynamics, and multisided experience in designing and supervising the construction of port, coastal and hydraulic infrastructure.

Dr Jens Figlus is an Associate Professor at Texas A&M University and head of the Coastal Engineering Lab (CEL) on A&M’s Galveston campus. He is an expert in coastal system dynamics, sediment transport mechanics,wave hydrodynamics, and innovative coastal structure design for flood risk reduction including nature-based solutions.
Dr Andrew Whitley is a Professor of Physics at San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas providing consulting services in coastal numerical modeling. He specializes in one-line coastal models, but he also has experience developing case-specific numerical models. He has been working with coastal numerical models since 2011 having been a member of scientific and engineering laboratories at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and Texas A&M University’s Galveston Campus.
Charilaos Palmas is in charge of Public Relations at Aktomechanics and his role revolves around effective communication, aiming at maintaining and expanding our business network. He has relevant experience in social media and comes from an International Relations and Political Science background.
Dr Stephen Orimoloye is a Coastal/Surveying Engineer with 13 years of experience in land and sea engineering works. He has delivered various large scale capital and hydraulic dredging works for vessels, rig moves, reclamation, and port developments. He has extensive knowledge of waves interactions with coastal structures under the sea and swell-driven bimodal sea conditions.
Loucas Xenophontos is a designer and technician. He draws plots to illustrate our ideas and technical solutions. Moreover, he adds the final touch of perfection to our projects based on his wise-technical intuition.
